Costa comes to Hamburg: Third Basis Port in Germany for the summer 2011

Hamburg. The Italian cruise line, a brand of the Carnival Group, will for the first time start with three cruise ships from three German ports.Costa Crociere now chose Hamburg to be the home port for the “Costa Magica”, which will depart for nine itineraries to Northern and Western Europe. With this move the company further strengthens its presence in Northern Europe.

Costa Magica (2.720 passengers) will depart from Hamburg to Dover, Le Havre, Copenhagen, Oslo, Edinburgh and other attractive European ports for nine 10-day itineraries from May until August 2011.

In 2007 Costa visited Hamburg the last time. Four years later, in 2011, the seaport on the Elbe is looking forward to its next visit.
